How Many Hours Should a 3-Year-Old Go to Nursery School?

Most of the children start their preschool at 3 years of age. At this age, it is hard for them to sit for a

long period without their parents. They tend to stay for less time than the other students.

Almost every nursery school provides 15 hours of schooling per week. The schedule may differ from

school to school. Some schools have a timing of three hours a day for five days, whereas some have

four hours a day for four days. These 15 hours are free as admission to nursery school, but if you want,

you can also pay for more hours and opt for daycare facilities offered in some schools. The teachers in

the school will take care of your child for that much time.

Some parents have a busy schedule and don’t have much time to pick up their children at a specific

time and take care of them in the middle of work. This paid service, which is provided by many of the

schools, can help them to continue their work, without worrying about the children. But it is also not

good to keep your children for a long time in the school, as they need their close ones with them for

most of the time.

Many of the best International schools have a very interactive environment, which keeps the kids

engaged in the school. The teachers are highly trained to handle the kids properly. If there is any

problem, parents are informed immediately.
